It's been a while since I've written here. Getting rejected from creative writing programs for the second time has prompted me to make an effort to write more (outside of all the writing I do for work).
I don't really have a topic to discuss today, but I just want to say "hey." I'm thinking about changing up what I do here a little bit. The idea I had is to approach it like a (hopefully) daily newspaper column. I'll take a topic and write about 500 words on it in a somewhat structured way. We'll see if that happens.
