The Inconstant Sea.

12.14.05

I am in control.

I am the captain of this ship, and I control it's destiny. I decide what I decide, and away it goes, motivated by my will.

Well, wait.

The sea that I sail is logic and causality. Is it not the sea that ultimately decides where I go, and I who merely agrees? It is so much a part of me that I no longer consider it separate. It is the one thing I can not change. There is beauty in that, I think.

But still, I feel an itch.

The sea is inconstant. What controls the sea is a throw of the dice, and what controls the sea is what controls me. I loved my authority over this ship. I could live with being a pawn to the sea. But this...
