Warning: for once this is not sarcastic, cranky, or depressing. and yes, there are pigs flying outside my window right now.
So I'm going to write this before I get more than one day into the school year because by tomorrow I'm sure I'll be annoyed again.
So things that are really good right now:
-Second year of vet school. There's light at the end of the tunnel
-aunt gave me enough money to pay the adoption fees for a dog if I choose
-I'm back in my nice apartment, all by myself
-the research I did at MN is finally going to be published
-my research from the summer came back statistically significant
-once I finish writing that up I'll be first author on a paper.
-I'm finally able to go back to ballet after being injured since november
-I got some new clothes/shoes. Stupid I know, but black leather four inch stiletto pumps just make any day better.
-I finally have most of my software/files reloaded on my desktop and laptop
-I saw transformers last weekend- really awesome movie.
-my cat's finally talking to me again after five days of running out of any room I entered
-right now my parasit prof is going to show a movie of which the main purpose is to gross us out.
